I am thrilled to be included in the 2009 Quilt Expo in Madison Wisconsin this September 10-12.  For three days I will be teaching all day workshops in which students will create art quilts based on “grove of trees” from my book “Photo-inspired Art Quilts”.

Welcome to my blog–I just knew the universe needed one more!

My name is Leni Levenson Wiener, and I consider myself an art quilter (most days, anyway).  My work can be seen in venues across the country and around the world–my quilts are more worldly than I am!  My first book, “Thread Painting” was published in 2007, and a second “Photo Inspired Art Quilts” is due this spring.  My work can be seen on my website: www.leniwiener.com
